FalseFriend [Martin] besteht aus einer Gedenktafel aus Carrara Marmor, mit der Francesco Fossati, unser Gast aus Italien, von einem Vorfall erzählt, der nie passiert ist, aber plausibel sein könnte. Die Erzählung verbindet das KloHäuschen mit dem Leben von Martin Kippenberger, als einem der bedeutendsten Künstler des 20. Jahrhunderts. Mit dieser parallelen Geschichtsschreibung setzt Francesco Fossati das KloHäuschen ganz bewußt in den Kontext zeitgenössischer Kunstgeschichte und fügt der Identität des Raumes so eine neue mögliche Geschichte hinzu.

Francesco Fossati will mit seiner Arbeit unserer Gesellschaft keine neuen Bilder hinzufügen, sondern er bietet über die Erzählung seiner Geschichte ein geistiges Bild an, das der Besucher dann selber in seiner Vorstellung erschaffen kann. Gleichzeitig hat er Lust, die Besucher zu verunsichern, ihre Neugier bezüglich des wirklichen Hintergrunds der Intervention herauszufordern und sie einzuladen, Dinge wie Geschichte, Kultur und Kreativität zu hinterfragen.

FalseFriend [Martin] ist Teil eines Gesamt-Projekts mit dem Namen "Fake History, bestehend aus dauerhaften und temporären Installationen ähnlicher Gedenktafeln, z.B. in Carrara (Historisches Stadtzentrum), Montoro – Neapel (CantinaMontone) und Mailand (Parco Nord Milano), alle Italien.
 
Die Gedenktafel am KloHäuschen wird genau 24 Stunden sichtbar sein, nämlich vom 20. August, 10:00 Uhr bis zum 21. August, 10:00 Uhr. Am Abend des 20. August von 21 bis 23 uhr laden wir zum "Bergfest".
 
Francesco Fossati (1985) ist Bildender Künstler, Lehrer und Mitglied der Künstlerzeitung E IL TOPO, lebt und arbeitet in Mailnad und Lissone (IT).

 
FalseFriend [Martin]
 
FalseFriend [Martin] consists in a Carrara marble commemorative plaque on which is narrated a never happened, but plausible, event. This fiction ideally connects KloHäuschen with the life of one of the most relevant German artist of the XX century, Martin Kippenberger. This parallel cultural history has the purpose of redefine the identity of Das KloHäuschen, giving to it a special affinity with recent contemporary art history.

Fossati's work doesn't want to add new images in our society, but it uses storytelling to create a mental image generated by the viewer imagination. Furthermore the work use irony to generate a doubt in the spectators, amplifying their curiosity regarding the real nature of the intervention, leading them to wonder about topics such as history, culture and creativity.
 
FalseFriend [Martin] is part of a large project called Fake History, composed of permanent and temporary installations of similar plaques currently exhibited in Carrara IT (historical center of the city), Montoro – Naples IT (CantinaMontone) and Milan (Parco Nord Milano). The project has been award winning on the occasion of the "Contemporary Sculpture Forum 2015" in Carrara by a jury composed by artist Michelangelo Pistoletto and museum directors Giacinto Di Pietrantonio and Laura Cherubini, among others.
 
The plaque produced for KloHäuschen will be visible only for 24 hours, starting from 10:00 a.m. of the 20th of August 2016. In the evening we will have a "Bergfest" (party defining the "Top of the mountain" which we will reach in the middle of the event).

Francesco Fossati (1985) is visual artist, art teacher and member of the artists' magazine E IL TOPO, lives and works between Milan and Lissone (IT). His recent solo shows were held in public and private istitutions such as: Museum of Contemporary Art of Lissone (IT), Casa Testori (Novate Milanese - IT), CantinaMontone (Montoro - IT), MARS (Milan), Dimora Artica (Milan). Fossati has took part in numerous group exhibitions in international institution such as: Kaiserliche Hofburg (Innsbruck - A), PAN | Palazzo Arti Napoli (Naples - IT), Museo della Permanente (Milan - IT), Szatyor Gallery (Budapest, - H), MACSa (Salta - RA), GAMeC (Bergamo - IT), among others.
